Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of drug and alcohol rehab program that works to treat substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in treatment participates in a variety of treatment services and strategies in the daytime and then leaves in the night time. This is done several days a week, depending on the severity of the drug or alcohol problem.
