Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment program that works to treat substance abuse disorders and psychological disorders which may be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehabilitation takes part in various rehab activities and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is carried out anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the significance of the problem.
