Criminal justice clients in Art often end up in alcohol and drug treatment centers due to the fact they were found guilty of drug related crimes, whether they were distributing drugs or were in the possession of or found to be high on drugs. Some courts put these types of persons into the alcohol and drug treatment system because they feel that rehabbing these persons will be more productive for the culture at large and for the individual, rather than sending them behind bars with no rehab at all.
