Facilities known as Partial Hospitalization or Day Treatment facilities are readily available to those individuals in Atlanta who are struggling with co-occurring alcohol and drug abuse and mental health issues. These kinds of facilities may be effective to those treatment clients in Atlanta who may not be able to afford inpatient care, or who are not able to take part in an inpatient center because of personal responsibilities. Partial hospitalization facilities help the individual during the day through counseling and other rehab methods, and the individual goes home in the PM. Rehab is performed anywhere from five to seven days per week on an intensive program which seeks to fully rehabilitate the client both physically and psychologically.
