Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug rehabilitation program which works to treat substance abuse disorders and mental health issues which may be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the treatment client in rehab participates in a number of rehab activities and methods during the day and then leaves in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, all dependent on the severity of the drug problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Bryan who who may be unable to cover the costs of long-term inpatient care, or who are unable to be away from their families for extended periods of time.
