Through early intervention, pregnant and postpartum women in Del Valle who are struggling with addiction can avoid any serious consequences for themselves and their infants by receiving powerful alcohol and drug abuse treatment. There are a few alcohol and drug treatment programs around the Del Valle area which have rehabilitation curriculum and rehabilitation facilities developed around the demands and problems that pregnant and postpartum expectant mothers are faced with in the course of rehabilitation.
