Partial Hospitalization, sometimes called "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program which is meant to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and mental health issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the person in rehabilitation partakes in a variety of rehabilitation services and methods during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, depending on the seriousness of the drug or alcohol problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted persons in Ecleto who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient treatment, or for treatment clients who are unable to be away from their families for extended lengths of time. While in Day Treatment, people participate in typical treatment services for alcohol or drug addiction problems while simultaneously addressing mental health disorders which may deter them from remaining abstinent after rehabilitation is complete.
