Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation center which is meant to deal with drug and alcohol addiction problems and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment partakes in a number of rehab services and techniques during the day and then returns home in the evening time. This is carried out several days per week, all dependent on the severity of the problem.
