Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of drug rehab program which works to treat drug and alcohol addiction problems and psychological issues which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the individual in rehab takes part in various rehab activities and strategies during the day and then returns home in the evening. This is carried out several days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
