Partial Hospitalization, sometimes referred to as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to handle drug and alcohol addiction disorders and psychological problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP facility, the person in treatment takes part in various rehab activities and strategies in the day and then leaves in the night time. This is done anywhere from five to seven days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be most effective for drug addicted men and women in Richards who may not be able to cover the costs of long-term inpatient rehab, or for treatment clients who are not able to be away from their home and work for extended periods of time.
