Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a form of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to handle drug addiction issues and mental health problems which might be co-occurring. In a PHP center, the treatment client in rehab takes part in a variety of rehab activities and methods in the daytime and then returns home in the evening. This is done anywhere from five to seven days per week, depending on the seriousness of the drug problem.
