Partial Hospitalization, also known as "PHP" or Day Treatment, is a type of alcohol and drug treatment center that works to treat drug and alcohol addiction issues and mental health problems which may be co-occurring. In a PHP program, the treatment client in treatment participates in a variety of rehab services and strategies during the day and then returns home in the night time. This is carried out several days a week, all dependent on the seriousness of the problem. Partial Hospitalization can be beneficial for drug or alcohol addicted men and women in Conroe who may not be able to pay for long-term inpatient rehab, or for those who are unable to be apart from their households for extensive periods of time. While in Day Treatment, treatment clients participate in typical counseling and therapy for addiction problems while simultaneously overcoming psychological problems which could keep them from remaining abstinent once rehabilitation is done.
